QueenSidhe (7:48:25 PM): lol
ZorPrime67 (7:48:27 PM): hehe

KWM01 (7:49:15 PM): cold over here
QueenSidhe (7:49:16 PM): Same. Busy.
Baileyslave (7:49:38 PM): you mean its warmer in Iowa than in California?
Baileyslave (7:49:56 PM): 75
QueenSidhe (7:50:03 PM): I don't know about that, but it was foggy most of the day.
KWM01 (7:50:17 PM): colder here, very windy
ZorPrime67 (7:50:19 PM): more cold here tho :-)
Baileyslave (7:50:35 PM): just rain here... April is our monsson season
Baileyslave (7:50:41 PM): monsoon
QueenSidhe (7:50:57 PM): Monsons in Iowa?
KWM01 (7:51:02 PM): brrrr, don't want think about your weather Zor
ZorPrime67 (7:51:19 PM): hehe
Baileyslave (7:51:20 PM): it seems like it some days... about 1/2 in ch every day for a week od two
Baileyslave (7:51:32 PM): flowers up yet, Zor?
ZorPrime67 (7:51:33 PM): snow is melting tho so its getting easier :-)
ZorPrime67 (7:51:52 PM): Jeff - not yet :-) still below freezing point at night

QueenSidhe (7:52:15 PM): brr
ZorPrime67 (7:52:26 PM): hehe you get use to it :-)
QueenSidhe (7:52:38 PM): So did everyone get a chance to read or reread Ender's Game?
Baileyslave (7:52:44 PM): yes
ZorPrime67 (7:52:49 PM): Yep just finished it!
KWM01 (7:52:49 PM): yes
ZorPrime67 (7:53:14 PM): I really liked it
QueenSidhe (7:53:14 PM): So what did you think of it?
Baileyslave (7:53:40 PM): I enjoyed it - it went real quick
ZorPrime67 (7:53:42 PM): awesome for me :-)
KWM01 (7:53:57 PM): good but not something i'd read for pleasure
Baileyslave (7:54:04 PM): why?
QueenSidhe (7:54:05 PM): Me either.
QueenSidhe (7:54:19 PM): It's another one of those disheartening books.
KWM01 (7:54:37 PM): ver thought provocing
KWM01 (7:54:42 PM): very
QueenSidhe (7:55:05 PM): Not as bad as The Golden Compass, but still.
ZorPrime67 (7:55:26 PM): heh
Baileyslave (7:55:29 PM): too much child abuse?
KWM01 (7:55:56 PM): no, just enough to piss me off
Baileyslave (7:56:16 PM): I'd agree... the manipulation was aggravating
QueenSidhe (7:56:22 PM): Very.
ZorPrime67 (7:56:25 PM): Because kid save the world or adult using kids in a cheap way ?
Baileyslave (7:56:32 PM): esp. when the result was explained away so quickly
Baileyslave (7:56:48 PM): second, Zor
ZorPrime67 (7:56:53 PM): hmmm...
KWM01 (7:56:55 PM): cheap way
QueenSidhe (7:56:56 PM): I didn't like knowing there was a need to use children to such extremes.
Baileyslave (7:57:08 PM): paaints a real negative picture of humanity
ZorPrime67 (7:57:13 PM): Well dont you think that the society evolves in that way?
Baileyslave (7:57:30 PM): I kept forgetting they were just kids as I read
ZorPrime67 (7:57:33 PM): We are asking children to do a lot more compare to my days :-)
ZorPrime67 (7:57:53 PM): Yeah the way the child talk was frigthening...
ZorPrime67 (7:58:06 PM): adults talk... or more precisely military talk
QueenSidhe (7:58:08 PM): How old were they supposed to be again?
ZorPrime67 (7:58:19 PM): Ender was 6 when he got in
Baileyslave (7:58:21 PM): ender left home at 6
ZorPrime67 (7:58:32 PM): killed buggers at 10
Baileyslave (7:58:32 PM): won war at 11 or 12
ZorPrime67 (7:58:36 PM): err
ZorPrime67 (7:58:37 PM): 12
QueenSidhe (7:59:25 PM): Children shouldn't be participating in such violence.
QueenSidhe (7:59:36 PM): It's supposed to be an innocent and carefree time in their lives.
ZorPrime67 (7:59:44 PM): agrees
KWM01 (7:59:49 PM): true
ZorPrime67 (8:00:04 PM): but I think Card wanted to show that the society is asking more and more from children
ZorPrime67 (8:00:13 PM): and I think he is right.
QueenSidhe (8:00:36 PM): What do you think current society is asking of children now?
ZorPrime67 (8:01:00 PM): Children need to be more responsible at short age because parents works hard...
KWM01 (8:01:11 PM): I don't agree, not if you compare it historicaly
ZorPrime67 (8:01:24 PM): hmm
Baileyslave (8:01:30 PM): well, we no longer simply play in kindergarten
Baileyslave (8:01:59 PM): they already did that in preschool, so they are learning things I didn't learn till 1st or 2nd grade
ZorPrime67 (8:02:08 PM): yep
Baileyslave (8:02:31 PM): they start out earlier... and are asked too know way more than I ever did just to graduate from high school
Baileyslave (8:02:48 PM): and if you can't keep up... too bad
ZorPrime67 (8:02:50 PM): I dont say we are going to do what those adults did but we gotta remind
ourselves that kids are only kid and need to play
QueenSidhe (8:03:39 PM): Even adults need play time.
ZorPrime67 (8:03:44 PM): Often I hear parents saying how proud they are of thier kids cuz they know so much...
Baileyslave (8:03:54 PM): and then look at Japan... those kids go to school6 days a week, and all summer
ZorPrime67 (8:04:02 PM): damn
ZorPrime67 (8:04:06 PM): thats insane!
QueenSidhe (8:04:16 PM): Half days on Saturdays, I think.
Baileyslave (8:04:19 PM): its the societal norm
ZorPrime67 (8:04:41 PM): I'm a lazy dood so i gotta protest that way of living :-)
QueenSidhe (8:04:49 PM): lol
KWM01 (8:04:59 PM): heh heh
ZorPrime67 (8:05:11 PM): Anyway back to the book.
Baileyslave (8:05:13 PM): I found it interesting that Card made Thirds the rejects but then makes them the elite at the Battle SChool
ZorPrime67 (8:05:19 PM): I have to say Poor Ender...
QueenSidhe (8:05:29 PM): People burn out after awhile.
Baileyslave (8:05:30 PM): the rejects save the world (as it was)
QueenSidhe (8:05:33 PM): Just like Ender did.
ZorPrime67 (8:05:53 PM): Battle School isnt rejects only ?!
ZorPrime67 (8:06:00 PM): Ender was an exception...
ZorPrime67 (8:06:08 PM): well so I thought... mb i'm wrong
Baileyslave (8:06:09 PM): weren't they all Thirds?
ZorPrime67 (8:06:31 PM): I didnt thought so... i thought ender was the only one
Baileyslave (8:06:48 PM): probably... just stuck i my mind
Baileyslave (8:07:19 PM): did you feel Valentine/Peter subplot was necessary?
ZorPrime67 (8:07:22 PM): Cuz the I.F. did look at Peter (too violent) and Valentine (too kind or something) first....
ZorPrime67 (8:07:29 PM): Jeff - nope.
ZorPrime67 (8:07:35 PM): Waste of paper :-)
Baileyslave (8:07:56 PM): I stopped cold when I reached that chapter, wondering why it was there
QueenSidhe (8:07:57 PM): I think it was more as a releif to the intensity of the Battle School parts.
ZorPrime67 (8:08:04 PM): but i said to myself that they would elaborate that in future book
KWM01 (8:08:36 PM): yeah in the second and third
ZorPrime67 (8:08:55 PM): I will read more...
Baileyslave (8:08:56 PM): does Ender reaapear in those books?
QueenSidhe (8:09:00 PM): Yes.
ZorPrime67 (8:09:04 PM): good :-)
QueenSidhe (8:09:04 PM): With Valentine.
Baileyslave (8:09:13 PM): and the bugger queen
ZorPrime67 (8:09:13 PM): I really like him.
QueenSidhe (8:09:23 PM): Peter you don't hear about until Shadow of the Hegemon.
QueenSidhe (8:09:29 PM): And maybe in Ender's Shadow.
QueenSidhe (8:10:12 PM): Also, their activities gives you a small view of what's going on in the outside.
ZorPrime67 (8:10:16 PM): btw what was that monitor for ? the thing on their neck?
KWM01 (8:10:48 PM): to get a profile of ability and personality
Baileyslave (8:11:00 PM): yeah... army's spy device
ZorPrime67 (8:11:12 PM): Ah
QueenSidhe (8:12:25 PM): Do you think there could have been a way to avert the war?
Baileyslave (8:12:42 PM): with buggers or on earth?
ZorPrime67 (8:12:45 PM): yep... humans went crazy there
QueenSidhe (8:12:54 PM): With buggers.
Baileyslave (8:13:09 PM): never was a war with buggers during book... it was humans deciding to strike first
ZorPrime67 (8:13:16 PM): war with russia was non sense.... USA paranoia i would say.
Baileyslave (8:13:35 PM): not at time it was published, Zor
QueenSidhe (8:13:48 PM): Humans emoting and doing a "preventive strike"?
ZorPrime67 (8:13:58 PM): yeah
ZorPrime67 (8:14:16 PM): Jeff- yeah i know. It was strange from a foreign dood anyway...
Baileyslave (8:14:20 PM): yeah... Queen said they hadn't meant to kill
Baileyslave (8:14:41 PM): but humans demonized them and decided to eliminate them out of irrational fear
QueenSidhe (8:14:43 PM): Just a species misunderstanding.
Baileyslave (8:14:54 PM): :-)
QueenSidhe (8:15:08 PM): Human arrogance and fear.
ZorPrime67 (8:15:13 PM): communication problems
Baileyslave (8:15:31 PM): old sci fi ploy... humans as evil, aliens as good
ZorPrime67 (8:15:46 PM): hehehe
Baileyslave (8:16:01 PM): are Mormons pacifists?
ZorPrime67 (8:16:11 PM): no idea
QueenSidhe (8:16:27 PM): I wouldn't necessarily think so.
Baileyslave (8:16:39 PM): maybe Card was giving us some of his personal views of world/human affairs
ZorPrime67 (8:16:54 PM): I think so too
Baileyslave (8:17:23 PM): and the two books of Ender was alittle too close to Mormonism
ZorPrime67 (8:17:24 PM): OT - is the reading schedule in a post on the forum ?
QueenSidhe (8:17:30 PM): I think that's how humans as a group, react.
QueenSidhe (8:17:38 PM): Suspicously and w/ fear.
ZorPrime67 (8:17:43 PM): yeah.
QueenSidhe (8:17:55 PM): ot?
ZorPrime67 (8:18:00 PM): hmm
Baileyslave (8:18:03 PM): or easily manipulated by politicians/army
QueenSidhe (8:18:05 PM): Yes. Reading List Spring 2001.
ZorPrime67 (8:18:07 PM): Out of context...
QueenSidhe (8:18:23 PM): The schedule for April is also at the top.
ZorPrime67 (8:18:31 PM): shouldnt be OT... dont remember ... damn its OC... sorry my bad
QueenSidhe (8:18:36 PM): And also listed on the main homepage.
ZorPrime67 (8:18:47 PM): roger.
QueenSidhe (8:19:10 PM): I thought it would be OOC.
ZorPrime67 (8:19:20 PM): right...
ZorPrime67 (8:19:32 PM): I'm tired i guess :-)
Baileyslave (8:20:00 PM): so, last time, Kelvin and Queen said they didn't care for rest of series... because it's more thought-provoking?
QueenSidhe (8:20:23 PM): It went a little weird.
KWM01 (8:20:27 PM): no, because it was boring
ZorPrime67 (8:20:31 PM): hehehe
QueenSidhe (8:20:49 PM): Zor, I also included a list of the reading list, for April and May, in the reminder I sent today.
Baileyslave (8:20:58 PM): becomes too philosophical? No good characters?
Baileyslave (8:21:15 PM): I really want to know more about Ender, but not if the books stink
QueenSidhe (8:21:18 PM): Weird. lol. I thought the fourth one got better.
ZorPrime67 (8:21:19 PM): Queen - ok thanks... didnt read the reminder yet ;-)
KWM01 (8:21:27 PM): the next book was decent but after that forget it.
Baileyslave (8:21:47 PM): so I could read Speaker of the Dead, then skip to new Bean books?
QueenSidhe (8:22:04 PM): I haven't read the new Shadow books.
QueenSidhe (8:22:11 PM): Those are parallel time lines.
KWM01 (8:22:16 PM): haven't read them but i heard they are good
Baileyslave (8:22:25 PM): I bought both without having read Ender!
QueenSidhe (8:22:26 PM): The ones we're talking about a centuries after Ender's Game.
ZorPrime67 (8:22:31 PM): I'm gonna read Speaker of the dead... if its good I'll move on... :-)
QueenSidhe (8:22:59 PM): I liked Speaker for the Dead all right. I didn't like Xenocide.
QueenSidhe (8:23:08 PM): I did like Children of the Mind better.
Baileyslave (8:23:23 PM): so there are %?
Baileyslave (8:23:25 PM): 5
ZorPrime67 (8:23:30 PM): yep
KWM01 (8:23:31 PM): same
Baileyslave (8:23:50 PM): man, trilogies just aren't what they used to be!
QueenSidhe (8:23:51 PM): But I like Jane, and Children of the Mind had a little more to do with her.
ZorPrime67 (8:24:00 PM): Jeff - yep
Baileyslave (8:24:07 PM): who is Jane?
QueenSidhe (8:24:16 PM): Ender's Game is the prequel that set everything up for the "main trilogy.
Baileyslave (8:24:18 PM): (other than Tarzans wife)
ZorPrime67 (8:24:23 PM): lol
QueenSidhe (8:24:39 PM): Which takes place centuries after Ender's Game.
ZorPrime67 (8:24:53 PM): Before reading more i gotta finish Sword of Truth first!! :-)
QueenSidhe (8:24:59 PM): Ender's Shadow and Shadoe of the Hegemon are more like direct sequels to Ender's Game.
QueenSidhe (8:25:19 PM): Jane is the "computer" that helps Ender out.
QueenSidhe (8:25:34 PM): You can find a short story about how Ender and Jane meet in Far Horizons.
ZorPrime67 (8:25:36 PM): in Ender game?
Baileyslave (8:25:48 PM): ok, now I'll have to read them
ZorPrime67 (8:25:53 PM): hehe
QueenSidhe (8:25:55 PM): I think I have all the Ender books listed on the homepage.
Baileyslave (8:25:56 PM): Far Horizons?
QueenSidhe (8:26:07 PM): It's an anthology by various authors.
QueenSidhe (8:26:17 PM): Card, McCaffrey, maybe Le Guin.
QueenSidhe (8:26:21 PM): And more.
QueenSidhe (8:26:29 PM): Edited by Silverberg, I think.
QueenSidhe (8:26:41 PM): The also did a fantasy version called Legends.
QueenSidhe (8:26:45 PM): They.
ZorPrime67 (8:26:53 PM): I dont like Anthology... I never finish them
ZorPrime67 (8:27:08 PM): Fantasy version of Ender story ?!?
QueenSidhe (8:27:10 PM): I just read the stories by authors I knew.
QueenSidhe (8:27:25 PM): No, in Legends, Card wrote about Alvin.
ZorPrime67 (8:27:31 PM): Ah
QueenSidhe (8:28:23 PM): It's a cool short story.
QueenSidhe (8:28:37 PM): Ender becomes a legal adult in that short.
QueenSidhe (8:28:55 PM): So he needs to quickly learn how to do taxes.
ZorPrime67 (8:28:57 PM): interesting
ZorPrime67 (8:29:02 PM): lol
ZorPrime67 (8:29:06 PM): seriously?
QueenSidhe (8:29:09 PM): Yup.
ZorPrime67 (8:29:17 PM): Gotta get that! :-)
ZorPrime67 (8:30:19 PM): Well... I'm tired... I'll go sleep. g'night everyone! cya on the forum
QueenSidhe (8:30:26 PM): Night.
KWM01 (8:30:27 PM): nite
Baileyslave (8:30:30 PM): bye Zor
(8:30:37 PM) ZorPrime67 has left the room.
QueenSidhe (8:30:58 PM): Any more comments about Ender's Game?
Baileyslave (8:31:20 PM): only that I wanted to know more about the buggers
QueenSidhe (8:31:27 PM): I liked the scenes where Ender and company were in the game room.
QueenSidhe (8:31:32 PM): That was fun.
QueenSidhe (8:31:41 PM): Even if it had darker implications.
KWM01 (8:31:42 PM): read the next book Jeff
Baileyslave (8:31:50 PM): ok, Kelvin
QueenSidhe (8:32:46 PM): Ender finally finds a home for that egg he picked up.
Baileyslave (8:32:56 PM): good.....
Baileyslave (8:33:09 PM): always cheering for the underdog
QueenSidhe (8:33:24 PM): =)
KWM01 (8:33:50 PM): since Vickie has read the first five books of the Sten series, let hear her opinion.
Baileyslave (8:33:55 PM): sad to think that humanity destroyed its first contact with other beings
QueenSidhe (8:33:57 PM): I think Card does a pretty good job about showing how alien an alien race can be.
QueenSidhe (8:34:13 PM): Yeah.
QueenSidhe (8:34:22 PM): Humans can be hypocrytes too.
Baileyslave (8:34:26 PM): Sten is like this?
KWM01 (8:34:49 PM): nope
Baileyslave (8:35:01 PM): oh, we just want her opinion?
QueenSidhe (8:35:05 PM): They were pretty good, but I got sick of all the military stuff by book 5.
KWM01 (8:36:05 PM): yeah 3-5 are pretty military oriented
QueenSidhe (8:36:06 PM): I read too many of them too close together.
QueenSidhe (8:37:10 PM): Now I need something light and funny.
Baileyslave (8:37:27 PM): back to Pratchett
QueenSidhe (8:37:44 PM): lol. I don't have anything by Pratchett on hand.
KWM01 (8:37:45 PM): try Mythology 101
QueenSidhe (8:37:52 PM): And I liked ASprin more than Pratchett.
QueenSidhe (8:38:06 PM): ok.
QueenSidhe (8:38:33 PM): I ttied Bicycle through time and space, but that wasn't light enough.
QueenSidhe (8:39:03 PM): I'll get back to it at some point.
QueenSidhe (8:39:08 PM): Probably.
QueenSidhe (8:39:20 PM): I didn't like the hero much. He gets upset way too easily.
Baileyslave (8:39:28 PM): Douglas Adams?
QueenSidhe (8:39:37 PM): Mike Sirota.
KWM01 (8:39:55 PM): hmmm, try Magic by Accident instead
Baileyslave (8:40:15 PM): did you like Logical Magician?
QueenSidhe (8:40:23 PM): Yes.
QueenSidhe (8:40:26 PM): Very much.
Baileyslave (8:40:34 PM): is that 1st or 2ns?
QueenSidhe (8:40:42 PM): First, I think.
Baileyslave (8:41:09 PM): can't think what 2nd is called
KWM01 (8:41:34 PM): it's more like Asprin then Mythology 101
QueenSidhe (8:41:37 PM): A Calculated Magic.
Baileyslave (8:41:49 PM): that's it!
QueenSidhe (8:41:57 PM): have you read them before?
Baileyslave (8:42:03 PM): yep...
QueenSidhe (8:42:16 PM): I liked the ending, how they got rid of the god.
Baileyslave (8:42:19 PM): I got them from library cause of demon on front!
Baileyslave (8:42:57 PM): yeah... it was a nice change of pace from really serious fantasy
Baileyslave (8:43:25 PM): and so nice not to have to commit toreading a long series
QueenSidhe (8:44:04 PM): Yup.
QueenSidhe (8:44:11 PM): Short, fast, fun reads.
Baileyslave (8:44:46 PM): thats why I read Cook's Garrett series
Baileyslave (8:44:57 PM): don't have to read them all to enjoy just one
QueenSidhe (8:45:11 PM): Garret series?
QueenSidhe (8:45:14 PM): Rick Cook?
Baileyslave (8:45:20 PM): Glen Cook
Baileyslave (8:46:03 PM): a fantasy private eye series.... starts with Sweet Silver Blues and then 6 or 7 all
with a metal in title
Baileyslave (8:46:27 PM): I enjoyed his Black Company books and wanted something else
Baileyslave (8:46:37 PM): and these are humorous
Baileyslave (8:46:58 PM): sotra like Teckla series by Brust
QueenSidhe (8:47:27 PM): I'll have to look into it sometime.
QueenSidhe (8:47:31 PM): Sounds interesting.
QueenSidhe (8:47:46 PM): Have you started Storm Front yet, Jeff?
QueenSidhe (8:47:54 PM): Or too gory?
Baileyslave (8:48:03 PM): that I read.... the second one I haven't
Baileyslave (8:48:22 PM): nah... Jills just a wuss
QueenSidhe (8:48:28 PM): lol.
KWM01 (8:48:32 PM): lol
Baileyslave (8:48:47 PM): I love a bloody horror book every so often
Baileyslave (8:49:04 PM): and like to read differrent takes on vampires
QueenSidhe (8:49:10 PM): I don't know. I didn't find it scary at all.
KWM01 (8:49:23 PM): same
Baileyslave (8:49:26 PM): just a supernatural detective story
QueenSidhe (8:49:29 PM): What vampire authors have you read?
Baileyslave (8:49:59 PM): Lumley, Steakley, Rice, a few Quinn Yarbro
QueenSidhe (8:50:13 PM): Oh. Kelvin, do you know if the bakery will still be open at 4pm?
Baileyslave (8:50:19 PM): some Ciencins, some old Zebra pb
KWM01 (8:50:33 PM): open till 6
QueenSidhe (8:50:35 PM): k.
QueenSidhe (8:50:57 PM): Elrod and hamilton are good.
QueenSidhe (8:51:06 PM): Elrod isn't really that bloody.
QueenSidhe (8:51:10 PM): Hamilton can be very.
Baileyslave (8:51:20 PM): Elrod is 40's noir?
Baileyslave (8:51:28 PM): Hamilton is Anita Blake?
QueenSidhe (8:51:32 PM): 20's.
QueenSidhe (8:51:35 PM): Yeah.
Baileyslave (8:51:50 PM): but her new one isn't a Blake, is it?
QueenSidhe (8:51:50 PM): 20's noir is the Vampire Files.
QueenSidhe (8:51:55 PM): She has done other stuff.
Baileyslave (8:52:03 PM): a revolutionary vampire?
QueenSidhe (8:52:17 PM): The Johanthon something or other is French revolution vamp.
QueenSidhe (8:52:40 PM): He pops up briefly in the Vampire Files.
Baileyslave (8:52:54 PM): I have an anthology of those
QueenSidhe (8:52:55 PM): And she's written 2 books with Nigel Bennet, the guy from Forever Knight.
QueenSidhe (8:53:22 PM): And a new one about a guy who went out to hunt Dracula but was turned into a vamp himself.,
Baileyslave (8:53:50 PM): wow.... I thought you didn't read vampire books!
QueenSidhe (8:53:56 PM): Love them.
QueenSidhe (8:54:08 PM): I just haven't read all that many.
Baileyslave (8:54:10 PM): hmmmmmm... no werewolves, then?
QueenSidhe (8:54:15 PM): Them too.
QueenSidhe (8:54:19 PM): I like paranormal stuff.
Baileyslave (8:54:34 PM): an X Files kinda gal huh?
QueenSidhe (8:54:43 PM): Blake series has lycanthropes, zombies, and vamps.
QueenSidhe (8:54:51 PM): Elves too.
QueenSidhe (8:55:02 PM): Actually, I never watched X-Files.
Baileyslave (8:55:11 PM): really?
QueenSidhe (8:55:15 PM): yup.
Baileyslave (8:55:26 PM): too busy reading, I guess
QueenSidhe (8:55:54 PM): I wasn't interested in the eries when it first came out so I never took the time to watch it.
QueenSidhe (8:56:02 PM): And reading too. =)
Baileyslave (8:56:46 PM): hmmm... I know I've read some Blakes, but titles escape me
QueenSidhe (8:56:49 PM): I'll have to try some of those authors you mentioned sometime.
QueenSidhe (8:57:04 PM): Guilty Pleasures
QueenSidhe (8:57:10 PM): Laughing Corpse
Baileyslave (8:57:12 PM): I have weird tastes... don't be too disappointed!
QueenSidhe (8:57:13 PM): Lunatic Cafe.
QueenSidhe (8:57:21 PM): Circuis of the Damed.
Baileyslave (8:57:42 PM): I hate it when I can remember plot details, but not title!
QueenSidhe (8:57:50 PM): What's the plot?
QueenSidhe (8:57:54 PM): Bloody Bones.
Baileyslave (8:58:30 PM): she is visited by a zombie and he gets her involved in some plot
QueenSidhe (8:58:58 PM): Killing Dance.
Baileyslave (8:59:03 PM): it had to be one or two
QueenSidhe (8:59:27 PM): Then Burnt Offerings, Blue Moon, Obsidan Butterfly, and Narcissus in Chains.
QueenSidhe (8:59:52 PM): The zombie wants Anita to help his vampire master?
Baileyslave (8:59:55 PM): just off the top of your head, or sitting by the book case;-)
QueenSidhe (9:00:18 PM): Oh. Then it's Laughing Corpse.
QueenSidhe (9:00:26 PM): 1 was Guilty Pleasures.
Baileyslave (9:00:48 PM): oh no... I'm gonna have to reread them to find out!
QueenSidhe (9:01:08 PM): Except for Lunatic Cafe and Circus of the Damned being switched, everything is in order.
QueenSidhe (9:01:44 PM): Luaghing Corpse is the one where there's a flesh eatting zombie out of control.
QueenSidhe (9:02:03 PM): And the zombie has some kind of grisgris around his neck.
Baileyslave (9:02:30 PM): magic charm?
QueenSidhe (9:02:36 PM): Yup.
Baileyslave (9:03:10 PM): thas it.... though i seem to remember a vampire helping, or is that Tanya Huff?
QueenSidhe (9:03:24 PM): Jean Claude maybe.
QueenSidhe (9:03:36 PM): Anita and Jean Claude are dating.
Baileyslave (9:03:36 PM): man, Phonics does nothing for the memory!
QueenSidhe (9:03:59 PM): Although, I don't think he was that involved at the beginning.
Baileyslave (9:04:15 PM): I know I only read one or two because they didn't have whole series at library
Baileyslave (9:04:29 PM): and I hate not reading whole series
QueenSidhe (9:04:48 PM): They had most at mine.
QueenSidhe (9:04:53 PM): Then I went out and bought the rest.
QueenSidhe (9:04:59 PM): I like the later ones more.
QueenSidhe (9:05:25 PM): But mainly because I'm interested in the developing relationships between Jean Claude and Richard and their developing powers.
Baileyslave (9:05:37 PM): I'll put that pile right next to the Pratchett and Card stacks
Baileyslave (9:07:00 PM): has group read them?
QueenSidhe (9:07:07 PM): Nope.
Baileyslave (9:07:36 PM): hmmmmmm.. sounds like a good nomination.... I'll vote for it this time!
QueenSidhe (9:07:38 PM): We can either nominate them later for us or go over to spine tinglers.
QueenSidhe (9:07:53 PM): They're having nominations now, I think.
Baileyslave (9:08:01 PM): I don't get there much
Baileyslave (9:09:45 PM): ok - its the witching hour here - or at least doggie nite nite time, so we gotta go potty and get a cookie.... take care and I'll get busy on some of the suggestions - tomorrow!
KWM01 (9:09:55 PM): nit
Baileyslave (9:09:58 PM): see ya later
(9:10:04 PM) Baileyslave has left the room.
QueenSidhe (9:10:07 PM): Night.
