I prefered it compared to Belisarius Z0rPr1me (10:12 PM): series QueenSidhe (10:13 PM): I didn't find it as exciting as the Belisarius series. Z0rPr1me (10:13 PM): But I think Turtledove should have deal more with the fact that they weren't able to get home. QueenSidhe (10:13 PM): Misplaced Legion kind of just went along. Nice descriptions, but not much action. Z0rPr1me (10:13 PM): looks like a first book of a series. Z0rPr1me (10:14 PM): he is describing and making us know the legion and the country for later books maybe Z0rPr1me (10:14 PM): Didnt read other books in that series yet KWM01 (10:15 PM): I think both have their points, Belisarius was easier to read and the charectors were more real but Legion has a more realistic plot. QueenSidhe (10:15 PM): What is the time difference between the two books? Z0rPr1me (10:16 PM): I still liked Belisarius. Z0rPr1me (10:16 PM): KWM01 (10:17 PM): Belisarius was late Roman Empire, Legion was Pre-Cesar Roman Republic KWM01 (10:17 PM): Damn spelled that wrong, How do you spell Cesar again? But Marcus was comparing the king speech to his troops with what ceasar might have done... Z0rPr1me (10:20 PM): or... did i dreamed that? I never would have guessed it would end like that.
