RMLWJ1 (6:43:52 PM): So far, my favourite scene is the end of the notorious dinner party in ACC. When the Countess asks the armsman if he can tell her what's going on and he says "No, milady." RMLWJ1 (7:01:31 PM): IIRC, Death in the Long Grass has a description of what happened when a hunter missed his shot and wounded a large rogue bull elephant. QueenSidhe (7:02:40 PM): I found Miles' and Kat's relationship a little strange between Komarr and ACC. QueenSidhe (7:03:43 PM): Then in ACC, Miles is courting Kat in secret. OneByTheWall (7:04:43 PM): in Komar, Miles is serious when he says it, but neither he or Ekaterin can discuss it because he has to leave OneByTheWall (7:05:26 PM): she's to raw from her previous marriage to even think about Miles as courting her QueenSidhe (7:05:56 PM): She seemed interested at the end of Komarr. QueenSidhe (7:06:08 PM): But maybe all the shocks at the end of Komarr was too much. OneByTheWall (7:06:15 PM): she doesn't have the seflesteem, and is lacking confidence, remember she is baffeled why he told her all about his loves and why he gave her all his phone numbers QueenSidhe (7:06:48 PM): I don't remember Kat being baffled at the end of Komarr. OneByTheWall (7:07:13 PM): interested in a friend maybe, and she thought he was feeling guilty about Tien's death, that's what she thought about Miles help with Nikkie at the hospital QueenSidhe (7:07:17 PM): The way I remember, Kat had a big "Oh!" on her face when Miles says she's number one. OneByTheWall (7:07:52 PM): yep, but they parted right after that and Miles backed into door frame OneByTheWall (7:08:41 PM): the weight of that statement didn't sink into Ekaterin at all, she was just puzzled about all the info. OneByTheWall (7:09:46 PM): Ekaterin's Aunt got it right away, but understood that Ekaterin couldn't deal with it, so she kept quite. QueenSidhe (7:10:36 PM): That part I remember.
